Is this rigorous enough to attend a top twenty university to study economics?
Is it bad that I will not take physics during high school?

“Is this rigorous enough to attend a top twenty university to study economics?”

The better question is if that’s rigorous for your school. How many AP courses do they offer and how many do you plan to take?

The thing is, most top universities are so selective that it’s hard to say anyone will be guaranteed at any of them. Apply to a few reaches, matches, and safeties.

Also, I’m sure you know that it’s not just courses taken that matters. My academics and test scores are great but I’m not getting into a top 20 university because my extracurriculars are not.

“Is it bad that I will not take physics during high school?”

I would say yes, primarily because (aside from AP Bio) your other science choices aren’t very strong. Some colleges require or highly recommend physics, and not taking it can hurt your chances.

Thanks so much! I attend a large school in Northern Virginia and there’s a lot of APs available. I’m just not really strong in math and I know physics is really math based, so I was hoping to avoid it.
