[li] Weaknesses: GPA[/li][/ul]General Comments:
NOTE ABOUT GPA: Okay so even though the GPA is low it gets worse....its not low because of lots of B's it is low because of D's C's and B's received both Freshman semesters and during sophomore year, HOWEVER after that all A's.

*PS It is going to be for Johns Hopkins University: *Biomedical Engineering, ED **

So do I even have the sliest chance? And would could have improved my stats?

gpa is the main thing; I don’t know how those bad grades will affect your chances but it won’t be good. Otherwise, the URM status might be enough to pull you in.

So should I apply or is it a waste of time and money?

BTW, you have whats called a major upward trend, that is actually a very good thing. I say go for it! I would actually be surprised if you get dennied.

So I should apply ED? right?

Yeah, might as well. The grades are really the only bad thing, and they were earlier in your high school career.

Hmm…idk…I am so nervous! I don’t want my teachers laughing and being rude when I ask them about it.

^I didn’t study for psych really…regret…
and I don’t the the pdf reference…

I don’t know about adcoms, but the upward change in your GPA would only impress me. Also considering your 2400 SAT, your minority status, and the fact that you’re from Oklahoma, you would seem like a strong candidate for JHU. You should absolutely apply. Good luck!

2400 SAT, Minority, Oklahoma, National Archery, Tennis going to State, SAT subject tests and top quarter, I would be terribly surprised if not accepted, the GPA factor is kinda awkward with a Perfect SAT, but interview with them and it should go well, be honest, seal the deal

Wait… you’re a sophomore. Sophomores can’t be National Merit + Achievement Finalists. And you said in one of your High School Life threads that you haven’t even applied for a job yet because you’re 15.

Do you even have a 2400…? And have you even taken those SAT subject tests and/or all of those AP exams yet?

-side eyes this entire thread-

Umm no this is not wesley108. I got a B in my Euro class last semester Once powerschool comes back on I can prove that to you. I don’t know about the similar stats thing since I’ve never taken the ACT. It is very possible that I know who wesley108 is in real life (didn’t know that he had a CC account though, I am going to message him).

So you and Wesley took/are taking the exact same classes senior year, have the exact same awards, took/are taking the exact same AP exams and subject tests, both got 2400s, are both in the “S.T.E.M” club, both have “100+ hours of different stuff (goes on transcript)” word for word, and both went to nationals for Archery? Gasp! Maybe you do know each other then!

Please spare us all and stop ■■■■■■■■.

-drops mic and exits stage-

I don’t really know about John’s Hopkins, and I certainly don’t know about the portion of it you are applying to, but I can tell you that your gpa will kill you, especially being that low. On the other hand, everything else seems to be pretty good
