Thoughts on today's SAT? (3/10/18)

@3scoutsmom

Don’t worry.
My son had 3 wrongs in Math and still got 790.
So the curve was quite generous.

@someStudentHere

He got 1570 from CA and raised his score from 1480 (October 2017).

One wrong in Reading 39
One wrong in Writing 39
Three wrongs in Math 790
Essay Scores are not available yet

@splokey If your son going to retake the SAT you might want to order the Question and Answer Service (QAS)

Anyone else still waiting?

Yes.

For some reason I feel like it was harder than usual… I screwed up one problem (the circle one on calculator sect) and had one that was unsure… Anyone wanna talk about the math curve this time? Will I still be able to get 800 on math if I missed one?
I am kinda mad because I got 800 on SAT Math II and I usually get perfects on practice tests… So I really did not perform as well as expected :frowning:

DS’s account says “scores pending” and scores will be “release throughout the day” anyone know what time they are likely to be released?

waiting in D.C. too…

Still waiting here in TX too

My daughter is still waiting. Looking through old cc posts, it seems the latest SAT scores have been released on Day 1 has been 4pm EST. Anyone heard or believe more scores could be posted today after 4pm EST?

I don’t know nextone1. Hopefully they’ll release more scores today.

Scores just showed up here. Math was 70 points below what he expected :frowning:

My daughter got her scores today (in NJ) and I am very happy. Her total score went up 70 points from her December 17 test, and she really didn’t prepare much for this sitting. Now she says that this March test was easier than the one in December, but she was afraid to say that in case her score went down, Her math went up from 660 to 720. Maybe there was a good curve with this sitting.

Son did well. 790 on math. 690 on Verbal. His weak point was the writing and language section, which was expected.

Relieved to say that scores showed up here. Just FYI - my daughter did not receive an email from College Board to indicate scores had been posted.

Sigh. Still waiting here.

we didn’t get an email either.

My son got his scores in Georgia today.

Reading 39 - 2 incorrect answer
Witing and language 35 - 4 incorrect
Math 37.5. - 6 incorrect

740 reading/ language
750 math

Scores are up. My son received a confirmation email.

My daughter is a 8th grader, she took SAT for the requirement of summer program. She got the result today. Reading 34, language& writing 30, math 670(don’t know how many wrong). The total is 1310. She seems low score in language&writing relatively. Any suggestions for improving writing?
