I am currently attending a CSU as an Econ major. My pre-reqs will be completed by the end of the 2015-2016 school year and my cumulative GPA is a 3.5. I was hopeful when I decided to apply for Fall 2016 but after reading that SDSU’s transfer rate is about 23%, I’m not sure anymore. What should I expect? If anyone else is applying this fall, please share! 
SDSU gives priority to CC students in their local area for transfers. That said if you check the link, you will see that SDSU had 428 transfer applicants for ECON and accepted 106 which makes it a 24.7% acceptance rate. Your GPA looks competitive, so I would definitely apply and hope for the best.
