Hello All.
I am 15, a junior in high school, will graduate at 17, 5.14 Weighted GPA, 3.5 Unweighted (though I will get this up to a 3.75 by the end of the school year, I should NOT have a freakin C in Calculus BC, uuugghh), anyway, and have community service and leadership experience including being a regular tutor, missionary positions at my church doing something like Habitat for Humanity building homes, Science Olympiad, Marching Band freshman and sophomore year, taking 6 AP/IB classes this year at the 38th best school in the nation, have around a 2000 SAT score, have been in the best band class offered at my school since freshman year, Debate class this year (it is a 4 point class like band this is why my weighted GPA is so low), Am on the Varsity debate team, play Baseball and Golf in my community (I really exceed in golf). I was just wondering if I am Duke material. I want to be a doctor. I plan to apply to Duke, Johns-Hopkins, and Chapel Hill, then go on to Med School. If I am accepted to Johns-Hopkins, I will major Pre-Med, and if I went to Duke or Chapel Hill would major in business admin. Thank you guys so much!

To have a good shot at Duke, bring up that SAT and unweighted GPA.

Check that link out for Duke’s middle fifty SAT last year. A 2000 is not even in the middle fifty, which is not a good sign unless you are hooked.
