Thoughts?

Hey guys, so I'll be a college Freshman next year and it's either going to be Univ. of New Hampshire or Albany. So, I'm just curious as to what everyone thinks of the school? I wasn't in love at first sight, but it's kind of grown on me and I think Albany is a great city. Anyway, any opinions and feedback are appreciated! Thanks!

My son was accepted to Albany as well, and although we don’t know anybody enrolled now, my son’s good friend graduated last year and enjoyed all 4 years there. We visited a few months ago and we’re going back for accepted students day. If he likes it as much, that’s where he’ll call home for a while.

Housing?? What is the preferred housing for a freshman. Anybody out there that can give us an idea? While he will have beer at a party, he’s not into heavy partying/smoking etc.

@uhhohh @countrygirl18 I don’t personally know all about the university since I do not attend but I do live nearby it, visited many times due to family members teaching there and have a few friends/acquaintances that attend/have attended. its possible I may be able to answer some questions

I’m a student at UA in my 4th year so if you have any specific questions, I can answer them for you @uhhohh @countrygirl18

Personally, I like it at UA, there’s plenty of diverse clubs, majors, and classes so to me it feels like anyone can find their niche. Just remember to be respectful of yourself, your classmates, roommates, professors, etc. and surely you’ll fit in fine and have an enjoyable 4 years there. I have yet to meet anyone studying there that doesn’t like it, but the joke among in-state students is that it’s where you go if you couldn’t get in to Sienna, me being the oddball who got into both and chose UA over Sienna…
