Hi, this is not a big deal but I thought I’d note it. I’ve authored five threads, but next to " My Threads" it says I’ve authored seven.
If I click on the “My Threads” link it takes me to the five that are mine. I have no idea what the other two might be-I only see five.
eta: Now it says 8 and I’ve authored 6 with the creation of this one.
I’ve noticed this too…I think the other two are the replies you made to your own threads.
Reports get counted as new threads. That’s why it says I have a ton instead of just a few.
Ah, like somebody flagged one of my posts?
If @bodangles is correct, I imagine it’s when you flagged someone else’s post.
Do either of these theories make any sense (have you only replied twice to your own thread? Or only flagged 2 other’s posts?)
Like you flagged someone else, I mean. If I report someone for swearing, that report adds one to my thread total for some reason. Maybe some other actions do too, if you don’t think you’ve flagged two people – I dunno.
Or that you flagged someone else’s posts?
Ah, yes! I flagged someone today (looked like an account created purely to spam people). I’m not a big flagger-I won’t flag for obnoxiousness or stupidity, only for spamming.
I tend to flag “Bumped up old thread” – not as a punitive measure but as an alert for the mods so they can close the thread. Hence my massive number of “threads.”

I’ve authored the grand total of 2 (or it might be 3) threads. My thread count is 1933.

@skieurope, Now I don’t feel so badly. I’ve authored 6 threads, but my official count is up to 62. I responded less than 5 times in each of my threads and I don’t make a habit of reporting people either. I have reported a couple of old threads, but not 30+ posts worth. It’s a mystery.
@austinmshauri I checked, and actually you have. Because you’ve been here for 2+ years, it just doesn’t seem like you reported that many.
