<p>GAHHH.....well considering that chances of getting through appeal is like around 5%...it's no surprise...i am also waiting for my appeal decision to ucla...</p>

<p>Wow, when did you guys send yours in?? Mine is still in review too. I sent my in on the 9th, through tracking I learned they received it on the 10th, and my admissions site changed on the 12th. What time of day did you guys check it? (sorry 'bout all the questions)</p>

<p>I sent mine in on the 16th, and my admissions site changed on the 18th. I was looking on pasts posts and it seems that for appeals the longer its under review the better it is. The first person to read an appeal will decide whether it should be passed up to the next person, and they do the same until it goes all the way to the director I think. So no worries, and dietbeer and dyingbreed good luck with your other schools</p>

<p>I'm so sorry to hear that=( keep your hopes up ucla might work out for u=) don't be down. It was sad for me today cuz i went with a group of friends to calday and they all got in too. i don't know why i joined along with them they are all crazyyy all of them got the alumni scholarship and cal opp so they are all good to go w/ full rides and crap. i mean man i really hope this appeal would work out for u guys! mine took forever to reply i thought they didnt recieve mine at all lol cuz i sent it in on the 14th and jus heard back from this morning (saturday) iono if that is a good thing or not.</p>
<p>Just remember that it may not be your fault. Admissions officers can be wrong sometimes. I was asking the dean of admissions at Harvard about how they process their application. At the end of my question she just stood there in a quiet confusion. As it turns out, the Dean of Admissions at Harvard did not know what "holistic" meant. Its your job to do well at whatever college you attend and prove how wrong they were.</p>
<p>Sorry to hear you didn't have a good time at calday. I was going to go to Calday too but I couldn't get a ride.</p>

<p>I remember it was someone very high up in the office of admissions. I thought it was the Dean of Admissions but I guess I'm wrong.</p>

<p>Maybe but look for any new grades or ECs.</p>

<p>I appealed because in my orginal app I forgot to include that I bring sexy back =/ What a shame they did not think I was worthy :(</p>
