All SLU hopefuls, Please note that SLU is an EAP program. Means applicants have to meet GPA, MCAT etc and interview before allowed to matriculate to SLU SOM. I had posted its stats from 3 years back, certain that if you search under my ID with keyword SLU you will find them.
Well, the assumption when one is filling in an application through a feeder(s), they are fine to attend the program if selected, through that one. So if one applied through multiple for whatever reason(s) - most likely to increase oneās chances- they should be fine with any of them. I donāt necessarily blame the med school for assigning one based on the allocation of slots for each of the feeders, the timing of the applications and their forwards, some feeders being heavily applied to and some not etc. So may be understandable if they want to do a balancing act.
There are schools like AMC, which allow only one feeder to apply through and NJMS which allows any number and if selected, the flexibility to go with any feeder forwarding them the application. Upstate falls in the middle of the spectrum.
Congratulations to both of you. I know someone who attended the program, we will get more details when time comes in Feb/Mar.

Thanks @PPofEngrDr for your adivce! I know , my D is not interested and she just applied. I am sure if they put that effort in regular route too from a better college and be successful.
Just a quick recommendation to all participants.
CC has rolled out this format and we all are trying to learn it. I found something interesting. If you want to congratulations/express other emotions to a post, you can simply click emoji icon of that message, search the emotion like congrats, happy, clap etcā¦ and just select that.
This has 2 benefits, forum doesnāt get cluttered with congrats messages and increase the visibility of meaningful information.

I will give TCNJ at least till the end of the week, if not next one. I am sure most people who applied through TCNJ also did through other feeders. So not the end if the road.

Does Temple/Temple Lewis Katz School of Medicine BSMD fall under the same category as EAP with the Pre-Med Health Scholar requirements (Provisional Acceptance)? My D got the Temple Honors UG and no word on Pre-Med Health Scholar programā¦
No, I am in-state but I think that the scholarship I received is available to all applicants.
I think so. I think @grtd2010 D did her undergraduate there and successfully graduated to medical school if I am not mistaken. He can give better information on that school.

Applied on 10/25 and got the UG admission email on 11/11ā¦
Got email from VCU that they giving Provost + 8000/year. We are OOS. Dollar amount technically same as Presidential.
