Please point me to the threads where I can find Dartmouth ED applicants average stats(GPA/SAT/ACT etc) of those accepted in previous years?
Have you searched Dartmouth ED and seen all the threads?
Looked in to the list, but I couldn’t find a consolidated thread
My D received her interview schedule today via email. Didn’t even know there will be an interview, she seems surprised
My S is considering applying Dartmouth ED next year. How much does ED help with admissions? I know the acceptance rate is much higher but is that all due to recruited athletes? He is a legacy if that makes a difference. Right now Dartmouth is his first choice, but also a long shot, and he would have to give up applying REA at Notre Dame, which he also loves. Thoughts? (UW: 4.0/W: 4.5+, ACT hasn’t taken yet, expecting 34, normal ECs/sports/some leadership, he can rock the essays/interview/teacher recs.)
We’ve no idea actually. My D has been debating whether to apply ED( between Dartmouth and Brown) or not for long time. On last day she did apply for Dartmouth. Last week her Alumini interview took place and it went little over an hour. Seems they impressed with her, but this interview doesn’t have any weightage in the process I heard. Anyway, we are NOT looking forward to it. Her choice is between GA Tech , Emory, Augusta (BS/MD) ( in state colleges) and Duke, she will mostly get in to 1st three based on her stats and consistently top 2 students in her school got in to them every year. She does have GPA( 4/4.3 UW/W), 15 AP’s including 6 this year( so far all 4’s and 5’s), National merit semifinalist, SAT (1550+ ), Georgia Governor honor program finalist, leader of Math, key and Quiz bowl teams. Helped as research assistant at local university for 6 months(prior to pandemic), Many academic awards she has.
good luck to your D! She sounds amazing.
