Given that registration just finished up on Nov. 15, I thought I’d make a thread for other prospective Transfer Students for the upcoming Spring Semester.
Good luck to everyone applying!

hello, what are your stats, if you don’t mind my asking?
probably very few applying for spring admission?
Hi no problem, I can respond with my stats
4.3 high school gpa,
4.0 unweighted college gpa (computer science major)
1480 sat (a little low, but my math score was an 800)
some honors include Tau Beta Pi honor society, Undergraduate Student Government, Eagle Scout…
I like to think that the most important thing in admissions is whether a student is a good fit, so regardless of whether someone has a single low stat or something, I think that the most powerful indicator is the personality and fit of the student to the university.
Either way, good luck to everyone!
Agree with you completely. I have a 1520 SAT score but didn’t submit it as I don’t think it really matters… grades, essays, recs and a good perceivable fit matter much more…
available space as well…
Good luck to us…
Hey! I applied in November too! Freaking out, I called the admissions office and they said they had more applications this Spring than ever before.
“The transfer admissions process is highly competitive, even more so than first-year admissions. Over the last several years out of 35-50 who apply for the spring term, we’ve admitted from 0-5; for the fall term out of 400-500 applicants we’ve admitted anywhere from 15-20. Take a chance, present yourself in the best light possible, and hope for the best. We’re limited by space, and we choose those who we feel are a good match and who we feel would bring something unique and special to our community.”
Given this, I’m assuming they have more than 50 applicants this round. Let’s see what happens!
I’m pretty sure we’re going to get our results back on the 18th at 3:14 pm ET. Good luck to everyone and I really wish you all the best!
But how do u kno
are the transfer results released?
I certainly didn’t get mine, I figured it’d be when the early action 2022 results were released and I read on a reddit thread that someone called and confirmed that. Guess that wasn’t true because I haven’t gotten a decision. I suppose it’s got to be any day though.
me either.
Decisions are out! I got rejected but best of luck to everyone else who applied!
Rejected as well. Anyone accepted?
I guess the 3 that were accepted are not posting here.
