Regarding Hope College in Holland, MI, although it is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America, it also has a significant Catholic contingent and now has a full time Catholic priest.

^Isn’t one that’s not accredited though?

There is Ohio Northern (Methodist) they have an engineering program though limited to a few majors, Otterbein in Columbus Oh.

PCC is not nationally or regionally accredited, so no potential for federal fin aid, and limited course credit if students transfer to an accredited school. They do have Tracs accreditation (Christian College accreditation organization generally perceived to offer little more than a rubber stamp). PCC’s engineering program did gain ABET accreditation in 2016.

As with any college, students should carefully research course offerings, educational, religious and freedom of speech policies, qualifications of professors (high proportion of PhDs), programs, and campus life when assessing whether a school is a good fit. There are large differences in these and other factors within the subset of Christian Colleges.

“Since 2013, Pensacola Christian College has been accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), a religious national accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, to offer Associates to Doctorates degrees.”

TRACS is officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Pensacola Christian College offers private financial aid and scholarships, and intentionally rejects any government money on religious freedom/autonomy grounds.

They have nearly 5000 students, considerably larger than most Christian schools in the country, so a lot of families have obviously found the school affordable.

Besides the ABET accredited engineering program, the baccalaureate and master’s nursing degrees are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Those who think you can’t have fun at a Christian college like Pensacola, better think again.

“The Sports Center has facilities for ice skating, bowling, racquetball, miniature golf, table tennis, and weight lifting. In addition, it includes a surfing wave, water cannons, an inline skating track, a rooftop sun deck, a snack bar, and two climbing walls. The campus also has the John Ray Hall Field House in which students can play basketball, swim, work out in the weight room, and play tennis. For students willing to make the 30-minute drive, the West Campus has 24 Hobie catamarans with classes “offered in sailing, kayaking, swimming, and lifeguarding.””
