So on Tuesday of this week me and my roommate got into an argument because I brought over someone she doesn’t get along with. This proceeded with cussing and making threats saying whenever she sees me she’ll beat me up, I talked to campus police as well as the Resident Director of my hall about switching rooms because I fear for my safety and they haven’t done anything about it. I feel as if I’m not being taken seriously. College is supposed to be a nice time and I’m not enjoying my second semester of my freshman year because I fear of my safety
Go see the Dean of res life. Tell the DoRL that you will be contacting local police, not campus police. Get your parents involved if necessary. I guarantee they will do something about it.
One question - is the person you brought over a threat/danger to her or a former love interest?
What @Lindagaf says. Go the Dean of Students or Dean of Res Life and Talk about facts…also talk about how you won’t bring that person over anymore so as not to exacerbate the situation.

You brought over someone who is a danger to you? Do go see the one or both of the deans and also go visit the counseling center to talk about why you make that choice. None of this is good for your safety.
