Three Computers at College

So I have been wavering with the ideas of what computer(s) to take to college next year.

I have a MacBook Pro 13" that I currently take to class and do most of my work on now. However, when doing my regular work I want a bigger screen. Which is why I was thinking about buying an iMac(the cheapest one) So I can have the bigger screen with slightly more processing power and more storage.

I also have a zt running Windows XP pro. I use it to run most of my computer games that I don't want to spend the money to buy the mac version, nor do I want to load up the mac with such games. I also use it with my laser printer since it doesn't work with mac. It's more economical than the ink jet i use for the mac. I use this to print out large batches of papers such as notes, etc.

So my question is which combo should I take to college. Thanks!

Get a 20 inch monitor for 200 dollars which will save you roughly 900 dollars. Then buy windows 7 os and parallels and just use a macbook pro for college. Bringing more than one seems pretty silly.

Just get one of the Thunderbolt monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse, and your system will dock wonderfully.

Get off the idea you should spend money on lots of electronics and, instead, save it. You will thank me in a few years when you graduate and have money in the bank when you start your working life.
And while you are at it, think about why you spend $720 a year on an iPhone plan just so you can play Angry Birds.

^ Are you an android fan or just not like smartphones in general? And Great advice about saving money. Its great to have gadgets and PCs, but getting out of college and being flat broke is an awful situation.

Yeah, dual-boot and get yourself a nice large monitor.

It’s annoying to sync files across multiple computers too.
