Three Days To Decide

For some of you the May 1st decision deadline is fast approaching and you have yet to decide where you will attend. I know it is a tough decision and I wish you all the luck in making the decision. Two things to remember:

(1) Only you can make the decision. It is your decision, so go with your own personal feelings and conclusions, not those of others (well except maybe for your family's advice). In the end, your gut decision is probably the best on to go with.

(2) Whatever decision you make will be the RIGHT decision. Why? Because you will make it the right school for yourself (hopefully).

In the past, I have created a lot of resources to advice admitted yet not decided students. Here are some links to help:

And in the end, if you are still torn about your decision:

CHOOSE HOPKINS!

if you are still torn about your decision also remember Hopkins has increased tuition by almost $4,000 in the past 2 years

the only thing holding me back was the saying that ‘theres no social life at johns hopkins’ but i went to the asian perspectives thing and had so much fun. i found out how wrong the myth is. anyhow, that pretty much decided for me that jhu is where im going. ppl don’t study all the time, my host hung out with me and her friends, and then theres lots of social events we went to at night and all of us camped out during the cancer walk, then we went to a get together with dance and music hosted by the asian perspectives, and i met so many people…then hte next day, she took me to a frat party (maybe she wasn’t supposed to), it was awesome. before i was so worried that people were hardcore studiers who never go out or socialize haha, thats so NOT true…maybe for some people its true, but i did’nt meet any like that.

alonzo, most schools have seen a similar increase.

JHU is a great college and had the circumstances been different I would have most likely ended up here. Here’s to med school!

i turned down harvard for johns hopkins. hopkins is an amzing place with amazing academics. amen.
