Three for three- finished!

After twelve years of college (my three kids'!), we are done! My youngest (second at USC) graduated yesterday with a degree in Business Administration. He made up his own emphasis: Web Entrepreneurship.

USC was all he could ask for and more. It would take a too long to list everything he loved and benefited from, but I have to get ready for the graduation party today. I'm just so happy that I figured I would write a quick post to tell everyone that life really is good as a part of the inescapable Trojan family.

My son has a job (yay!) that started with an internship found through one of his entrepreneurship professors over a year ago. It is with a start-up company that will hopefully get funding this summer. It's a risk, but he thinks it is worth it because it could lead to his "passion"- a big theme in the commencement addresses yesterday.

College Confidential has been an incredible lifeline for me. So many wonderful people volunteer their time to help make USC's page one of the busiest and most respected sites here. I have really enjoyed getting to know many of you over the years. THANK YOU for your time- researching, posting, and linking accurate information and useful tips as well as just emotional support!

So, after all the worry, pain, financial concerns, stupid questions (I asked my fair share!) USC was SO worth it.

FIGHT ON!
:D

Congrats! Go celebrate with your son!

Congratulations to you and your family!

Congrats! Thanks for sharing the wonderful news!

cc411 I am so happy for your son! Congratulations to you for raising such a talented young man(men)!

Congratulations to all three of your Trojans. Best wishes on your son’s new venture. My father had three of us at SC. One of his proudest moments was having our photo taken in front of Tommy Trojan in our caps and gowns.

Thanks for sharing your good news!

cc411–big congratulations to your family!! I will always be grateful to you for your contributions to the USC cc forum. When my oldest son was applying to USC 3 years ago, your extremely kind posts were an early glimpse into the generosity of the Trojan family. Now, here I am with my 2nd son about to enter USC. I guess we get kind of addicted to place!

Hope you hang around cc a bit longer and let us know how all your kids are doing. I wish your newest grad a great future!

cc411, I’m right there with you. Our older daughter also just graduated with honors (Marshall), on time and with a great job that came out of an internship she found on SConnect. It was a big investment, but my husband and I have absolutely no regrets and could not be more proud of her.
