So this might be kind of a stupid question, but would it be terrible if I were to have three teachers send in the instructor evaluation forms that come with the Common App?

I understand that they write two for a reason, but would three like, disqualify me from the admissions process?

Also, I am applying as a transfer student.
One of my high school teachers wrote me a letter of recommendation that I would be able to send in as part of my application “portfolio”. On the websites of the schools to which I am applying, they do not mention a letter of recommendation at all for transfers. Will a letter or two hurt my chances of being considered as well?

My general rule of thumb is a maximum of 1 supplemental LOR beyond what is required.

Thank you very much for your time, and for your response.
So, it’d be best if I sent the two instructor’s evaluations (required) and the one letter of recommendation?

If the school doesn’t require any LORs, then I’d recommend sending at most 1 supplemental LOR.

If the school requires 2 LORs and uses the CA, then I’d recommend sending 2 IE/LORs that meet the requirements of the school and at most 1 supplemental LOR.
