Three Questions about Hutton Honors College

When I received my acceptance from IU, I also received an invitation to HHC.

  1. Does this invitation mean I'm "in" or is this letter just an invitation to apply?
  2. Can I be in Kelley and HHC at the same time?
  3. At New Student Orientation will my counselor know that I've been accepted to Kelley and HHC?

Thanks in advance.

  1. You're in
  2. Yes
  3. Yes

3.a At NSO you should be getting your advising at the Hutton building by a Hutton advisor while your parent drinks a cold ice coffee across the street at the IMU. Woe to the unsuspecting parent who strolls into Hutton during advising…

Also on #3 - if you are in ACE (or maybe other Kelley programs?), you will get advising from them rather than Hutton people

I’m so upset. I had a 3.896 GPA and a 32 ACT. I didn’t see an email about an appeal. I would’ve had a 3.9, but my school hasn’t put in the AP multiplier yet.

You can still get in as a freshman. I would do it if you make the grades.

I would also email Laura Felicetti and explain your situation if you will actually have a 3.9 GPA when your school applies AP weights. It might not work, but it’s probably worth a shot.
