Three SAT II's ???

I was wondering what schools need three SAT II's. I know JHU does from visiting so I am kind of the fence about applying.

I mean I am going to study hard for two SAT II's for November but I think a third will be a bit overwhelming with Five AP's and varsity XC. So what other schools require/recommend three subject tests?

Thanks a lot. And do you think you could still get admitted to JHU with 2 Subjects??

Thanks

I know that most ivies require three SATs IIs. Just look up the colleges at collegeboard.

Someone once told me it's best to take a subject close to a AP test. For example my friend took her SATII US history right after her AP exam. So basicly you are studying for both at the same time which is convient.

For subjects like literature, math and languages you just have to fit it around your schedule for when it is best for you to take it.

Just look up JHU at collegeboard and this is what it says:

"Recommend 3 SAT Subject Tests. SAT Math Level 2 recommended for students applying to school of engineering."

So yeah in that case they really want three.

Hope all of that helps!

i think the only schools that require 3 are Harvard, Princeton, and Georgetown. JHU only recommends 3.

Thanks chipmunk. While I do appreciate your comments, MstrLinks, I do not value false information but thank you regardless. I wouldn't consider two of eight ivies to be most but whatever.

Anyone get in to JHU with only 2?

-I'd also like to have an answer to this question, if three are REALLY necessary (IE: only 2 sat II's hurt chances anywhere). I'm sure it depends on schools but there must be a general opinion out there. I'm pressed to take sat II lit in november otherwise which I really don't want to take.

If you don't want to take lit than don't take it. Remember every SATII test you take the schools see. TAke the ones you are strongest in.

And regarding how many you should take it's up to you. Depends on your other schools. But JHS "recommends" 3 so they really want 3. That's what it sounds like to me.

If they recommend it, do it.

What do you mean false information? If it's about the ivies wanting three sorry but I could of swore I was right about that.

I know that harvard, yale, and princeton require three.

yale no longer requires 3

Yale requires two.

Students who submit scores for the SAT I are also required to take two of the SAT II Subject Tests.
