can someone tell me more about Thunderbird school of business in arizona and university of south carolina business school? they are ranked #1 and #2 respectively in international business by usnwr, making them better than penn, columbia, nyu, harvard, duke, ucla, michigan, and usc. what makes them so special/so good in international business? i heard that thunderbird is good because it uses a european model?? but i'm really clueless here. also, do thunderbird and south carolina have good placement into international business firms?

Would you seriously pick Thunderbird or South Carolina over Harvard or Wharton? Didn't think so.

haha of course not, but i was wondering why they are ranked higher. there has to be something good about them! yet i havent heard much about them....

My understanding is that instead of awarding an MBA, they award a "Masters in International Business Administration," and require language study in addition to business courses.
