Actually, my first name is spelled Fnami. Should I correct them?

Dear [fname],

Greetings from Vanderbilt! As you look ahead to your senior year and to the college application process, I want to let you know of some exciting changes in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

First, Vanderbilt now exclusively accepts the Common Application for admission. With the Common Application, you can save time and effort by applying to several schools simultaneously. Visit http://redir.targetx.com/cgi-bin/email/redir.cgi?id=0000428348-72061144 to fill out the Common Application and Part 1: The Vanderbilt Common Application Supplement.

I'm sure that when you apply everything will be straightened out. I wouldn't worry about it.

hahaha
I noticed it too, but then I decided to not be too harsh on them. I think the effort colleges make to personalize emails and letters is a nice touch (even if it takes a little coding lol)
