TI 89 for Calc AB???

The Collegeboard website says yes, it's allowed on the exam, but the calc teacher at my school told all her students that it was prohibited...I am a self studier btw! So help!

It’s allowed.

Yes, it is allowed! I think you should print out the site saying that and show it to the teacher. The 89 helps tons, and my teacher says we can use that and the 84 on the test simultaneously.

Thinking about this more, the calc teacher may just have prohibited it for use in the classroom. It’s significantly harder to write calculator-active tests that don’t give a significant advantage to the TI-89 over, say, the TI-84.
