Ti-89: Increments, Riemann Sums, TrapRule

int3,-1dx

How I use the TrapRule in my calculator with say, 100 increments?

The same goes for midpoint Riemann sums with 100 or 1000 increments.

???

The TI-89 can't do this by it's self.

Download and install the calc tools app from TI-website. It's the easiet option if you have the cable.

If you don't have the cable, you could write your own program. It would be fairly trivial for even an inexperienced programmer to do. If you need help there are dozens of programs you can view the source code of at www.ticalc.org . You can just type in a basic program from the site if you don't feel like writing anything.

Oy okay thanks dude.

sorry, I'm anti-calculator (we are not allowed to use calculator in BC class)
