I have a ti-89, but am not very proficient with it. Could someone please post where I could find info, or what I need to know how to do with it that is so helpful on the math IIC exam.

ticalc.org know the solver function. press F2 and it's the first option.

I was wondering the same thing. I need help on getting used to the calculator and learning how it works

Read the manual.

Ya I did, but with hundreds of functions I need to learn what I need to master to be as time efficient as possible.

Why is the log function only under catalog?

Just use ln, same thing really.

Don't memorize every one of the hundreds of functions... just learn the important ones. Differentiation, integration, solver, summation, graphing (polar and rectangular), and such.

For quick access to things like "log" (which normally is only found in catalog) make a custom home menu that has all the things you will use frequently that are not found in the regular home menu. Search on google for how to make a custom home menu (that's what I did) and just follow the instructions. You can switch between the default home menu and custom home menu by pressing 2nd|Home.

I know ticalc.org is one of the best sites for TI stuff, but I'm having trouble finding tutorials for the 89 T. All I can seem to find are games. Could anybody help out here?

Thanks.
