So I like many of you am taking the Math 2 tomorrow. anyone wanna list some tricks you can use with the ti89 or 83 or 84 that most people dont kniw that help solve the problem easier and faster?

I don’t think you’re allowed to use the 89, am I right?

You can use the TI-89.

My bad. Never took math 2 :P

you can go into programs and make a program titled “equations”, edit it, and type in any equation you need… that way you can access it later. it sorta helps :P

I recommend this program: [SAT II Math Dojo - ticalc.org](SAT II Math Dojo - ticalc.org)

Guys, SAT math and SAT II math aren’t hard at all… If you really need to enter in all your equations and save it and then use it on the test, that’s slightly sad. A lot of people can get 750+ on this stuff with simpler calculators.

^ There’s no use saying that. The OP wants programs for a reason (and I’m not saying they are bad at math)

Hell, I would use programs. It would save me precious time.

garythesnail, oh you pretentious you… just because you can take these tests and do so well, everyone else who is not as good all are sad… oh dear

The only program i had was for conics where you enter an equation and itll give you ALL the info. You can find some like that in the geometery section of ticalx

I tried putting a couple notes in the program section, but the proctor cleared the memory on everybody’s calculator before we started. I was kinda freaking out when I saw her doing this so I cleared it myself before she got to me. It’s kinda not fair that they don’t all do it.

mtv22: tell your testing proctor that she can’t do that.

well it’s a little late for that
