ok i just bought this bad boy, and i got a month left until sat iic. Is there a book that helps me OWN the test? is there a book called owning sat ii with ti-89

Yes, there is a book at Barnes and Noble entitled "Owning The SATI/II with the TI-89 Calculator." Great Book

i asked and shipment comes in next month cuz of the high demand. any other books?

I got one called "B!tch smacking the SAT II math with the TI-89 because you can't actually do the math." It really helped me. I got an 800. I really like the program it tells you how to write that will guess FOR you on questions you can't even begin to solve. I always second guess myself when i guess, but having a calculator do do the guessing really takes all the guess-work out of it.

I have actually tried that one out. ^^ It helps me b!tch smack as the title indicates, the AP Calc with a 5 and MAth IIC with a 800. I didn't want to tell you about that one cause not too many people know about it.

To be a bit less of a smart ass than the other posters, the TI-89 won't help your score, because (gasp!) you actually have to have a very basic understanding of what to do before the 89 can do it for you. Even in calc where people say you can just use the 89 to breeze through and never do the math, you have to be able to set up the integral, etc before the calc even comes into play. So, in short, the 89 won't help and your time would be better spent learning how to do the math.

How did my post - albeit sarcastically and with some wit - not say that?

I never said it didn't. I was just adding my $.02, which happened to agree with yours.

It's all good. B)

Omniscient, what edition do you have? I REALLY need one for the new SAT I, but I can't find it anywhere. Help!

Don't fret my Northwestern brother. It is the 3rd Edition with a red and blue cover that shows a unintelligent kid literally b!7ch slapping the the SATI/SATII Test, depending on which one you are choosing. Also, it has before and after pictures of his Score Reports. 310 to 800. That was the hook right there.

You don't need a TI-89 actually.

I managed an 800M on the SAT, an 800 IIC and a 5 on Calc AB using nothing but an abacus.
