TI-nspire CX

College board makes it confusing of whether I should bring the TI-nspire CX due to it having an alphabetical keyboard! They say no Querty or computer-like structure… but it’s techniqually not… and they say nothing that needed to be plugged in an outlet… but isn’t that all texas instrument calculators…anyway i just want to make sure I have the SAT this Saturday… please help!!! Also thank you!

@PrettyReckless the CB website makes it extremely clear that the NSpire CX is allowed.

Btw, it is spelled “technically.”

@MITer94 I was writing it very quickly so I didn’t have time to check my spelling due to some circumstances… also it’s better to be safe than sorry so… thanks for the feedback!

@PrettyReckless ah, okay. But yes, it is on the (non-exhaustive) list of acceptable calculators.

The Ti-Nspire CX and CX CAS do NOT have QWERTY keyboards.
The Nspire keyboards are in alphabetical order (ABC order), not QWERTY order. This makes it much slower to copy whole words. The main reason QWERTY keyboards are banned is to prevent people from copying the test questions into their calculators.
Further, the Nspire calculators were designed with input from CB as to what would and would not be allowed in a calculator for CB tests. No way CB is going to ban them.
