Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3

Does anyone have a list compiled of:
Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3 schools- or can point to a link where
there is one?

USWNR publishes its rankings online and provides its evaluation of the tier for each school with the rankings:
[Best Colleges - Education - US News](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges)

US news revised its ranking system this year and now the top 200 National Universities are now Tier I

Last year, the top 130 or 140 were Tier I.

What schools are you looking for?

Here are the top National Universities…
http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/national-universities-rankings

Here are the top National Universities that are public
http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/national-top-public

To add to mom2collegekids’ post, USWWR has no Tier 2 category. You go from Tier 1 to Tier 3.

And remember that the masters universities are NOT listed on the links provided above. These are schools where the highest degree given is a masters degree. Some are wonderful schools. No tiers for those at all.

There are many lists besides the ones from USWNR. It’s best to look at several sources to get a fuller picture about school/program rank. Princeton Review (for schools) and Ruggs (for majors) are two well established ones that come to mind.

Sorry…gotta ask…why do you want this “tier” list?
