i already have a lot of college credits, so is it possible to only attend oxford for my freshman year then transfer to the main campus for my sophomore year?

If you had the right amount/distribution of credits, you could graduate from Oxford a year earlier. I don’t know if Emory makes you graduate in 4 years, but by graduating from Oxford, you’d be a junior on the Atlanta campus the next year.

Note also:

Oxford will accept up to 32 hours of college credit earned on a college campus. I don’t think it accepts credit for college classes taken on a high school campus, used toward a hs grad requirement, or that was online. It also only accepts 16 hours of AP/IB credit.

You can always call Oxford and ask them for clarification.

thank you!

With enough incoming credits Oxford will grant you sophomore standing the first year, which means the next year you would be a junior on the main campus.
