Time between back to back classes? 15 min?

How much time is there generally between two back to back classes in college. In high school it was 5 minutes for me, but isn't college like 15 minutes? Anyone have a different amount. I'm trying to figure this out but can't find it online or on my school's website (Mizzou, fyi).

Thanks!

nevermind, I found its 10 min here…

For me, 10 mins to get from one building to another. :(

aww…yea I lucked out because all of my classes are right near one another as well as my dorm, so I don’t even need to bring a huge backpack to class to hold 2 classes worth of stuff…I can just take a smaller bag everywhere and drop stuff off in my dorm between classes because they’re so close.

10 minutes for me. It’s plenty of time unless I have to go all the way from the west to the east side, which I think I’ve only had to do once or twice in back-to-back classes. The noon switch gives us 20 minutes as the schedule changes.

MWF Morning classes go like 8-8:50, 9-9:50, etc. Afternoon classes go 12:10-1, 1:10-2, etc. So the 11:50-12:10 gap is nice for getting from east to west. The TR mornings are 8-9:20, 9:30-10:50, 11-12:20, then a 20 minute gap, 12:40-2:00, etc. But that will vary by school…

It’s 10 min for me, even less if your professor decides to keep talking, but I leave anyway if the next class is all the way across campus.

15 minutes between classes for me. which i’ll need when i have to take the elevator during rush hours.

I’m taking hour-long gaps that I’ll use to study, get food, work on my online class, etc.

Since college is 1/2 an hour away from home I figure it’s a bit of forced studying.

I had the liberty to choose my own classes and at what time. I have two classes per day and leave about 45min -1 hour in between…yes I am lazy…

Only 2 classes a day! That’s not very many credits…are you even a full time student with that…

10 minutes for me - sux

That’s about 16 credits I think, certainly full time. Are you in high school? Almost everyone takes 2 classes a day, maybe 3 if you have a heavy course-load.

You have as long as you want since you can leave class whenever you want.

This thread reminds me…I should probably go check if buildings/course locations are posted yet! Wish they could post these and the professor’s name when we register

No, Logic Warrior, Im gonna be a frosh in college…Monday I have 4 classes, tuesday I have 2 (one is only a month long course), wednesday I have 4 classes, thursday I have 2 (1 is the one that is only for a month), and friday I have 4. So it is a bit more than just 2 per weekday–more like 2 per 7 days, and that’s after the 1 month long course is up…

Really cards4life? I knew right away the locations/profs for my classes…weird that you dont know yet.

Well I know now that I checked :)

Yea the locations aren’t posted until about a month before classes start each semester–I don’t know why, because they obviously have their size/enrollment limits established by the time registration opens, so why can’t they have buildings/rooms determined also? Who knows. Most instructors are listed at registration, but for whatever reason my dept doesn’t post them and neither do a couple other depts. I can usually tell who teaches what section by looking at the class times since most profs like to keep the same time slot each term, but it’s not an exact science. I was only wrong about 2 of the 6 profs, and obviously I had no idea who the TAs would be.

7 mins here, it’s good exercise ;)

For me it is now 15 minutes.

It use to be 10 minutes on certain days and 15 minutes on other days. It’s all 15 minutes now.

Well technically, I’ll only have one class per day next semester. They’re 3-hour classes though.

And at my school, we have 10-minute breaks between each class (25 minutes during lunch though: there are no classes between 12:20 and 12:45).
