I'm currently picking classes right now as a freshman at Princeton next year and am curious as to whether or not two consecutive classes, say from 9-9:50 and from 10-10:50, will present any problems for me in terms of having to rush to the next class or being late all the time. The pairs of classes that I had in mind are Chemistry and Chinese (Frick Lab to Jones Hall) and Chinese and Economics (Jones Hall to Fisher). Could someone give me an estimate of how long it'll take to walk to from each of the former locations to the latter? Thanks!

2 minutes or so – you basically just have to cross a street. I believe the classes are scheduled that way so that attending two consecutive classes (anywhere on campus) won’t present any problems.

Okay, thanks Begoner. I knew where each building was relative to each other, just not the distances between them

Oh, to give a sense of scale, then, walking from the engineering quad (top right) to the dinky station (middle left) generally takes me about 8 minutes.

wow you walk really fast! It used to take me 11 minutes to walk from the junior slums to charter. But as long as you aren’t going to the equad, you can get anywhere on campus in ~10 min. I had one rough semester when I had to run from jadwin to green (uphill, lots of people), but I generally made it sort of on time.

8 minutes? I call b.s.
