I’m having a difficult time completing the reading section on time. I don’t know how to properly complete the section and do well at the same time. I always have one section to still read and complete. Do you skim? I read the entire passage and then answer the questions.
Skim the passage, then go to the questions. Skimming should only take you 2-3 minutes. Once you do the questions, they will have line references. Go to those lines then look for details. Try to finish each passage at around 10 minutes at first. Then, once you miss around 1-2, lower that time limit to 8 minutes per passage.
I usually read the questions first and see if there are any I can answer instantly, such as the word definition questions. I also read them first in order to know what to look out for when I actually read the passage so I can skim unimportant parts. Good luck next time you take it!
