<p>OK, Coast Guard, it's time to start playing D3 lacrosse so we can add that sport to the Secretary's Cup. I'm sure there's room in the schedule for a trip to Long Island.</p>
<p>The Secretaries’ Cup is just the football game, the year-long series is the Superintendent’s Trophy (begun in 2003 with CGA leading 9-1). </p>
<p>Lacrosse is big at USCGA, they play an intercollegiate schedule but are classified as a “club team” for some reason.</p>
<p>They usually have a few All-Conference and All-American players every year, and are pretty successful.</p>

I think it is time to go D3 with lacrosse. If they are playing an intercollegiate schedule then this shouldn’t be a difficult transition. PS, I saw their uniforms on line, pretty cool!</p>
