In case you were wondering…my SAT IIs weren’t that great…they pretty much sucked actually. (chem…math…history…570…630…710 YUCK) but I’m taking them over Jan 26… Sooo yeah. I’m about to pay. Any final opinions??? Please help me…Good karma for you.

send your scores. if they don't accept you, it won't be because of your SAT scores. don't fret about this. your APs and college courses corroborate your top 1%, which is fantastic! although, are you sure that's top 1%?

So you aren't in the top 1% of students. You're just outside of it. Not that it makes a difference. As for your SATs, they aren't spectacular but they aren't terrible. See how well you do on the January tests.

I assume they will considering Dartmouth, Amherst, Williams, Middlebury, and Swarthmore told me that they would as long as I send a letter reminding them that I am taking the Jan 26 SAT IIs. Relieving, isn't it?! I emailed them a month ago. My reasoning is that a college that obviously doesn't care THAT much about SATs (since they don't even require them, let alone satIIs), would accept January SATs. If it turns out they don't...then...who am I kidding? it is all too late at this point. I just want to get these apps over with. Who is with me?

I am! Quick question, when is the bowdoin ED2 deadline? I received a letter today from bowdoin stating that the deadline is DEC31. isn't it JAN01?

This is literally copy and pasted from Bowdoin's website under Requirements and Deadlines:
Regular Admission & Early Decision II: 01 Jan.
Are you sure your email said DEC31?... Unless I am missing something crucial...But the "01 Jan" next Early Decision II is pretty blatant

Yeah I think it is Jan01. I received a letter today because decided to switch from RD to ED2 a couple weeks back (nothing better than changing your mind during the last seconds :) In that letter it states "Please note that it is not unusual for supporting information to arrive after the December 31st deadline" So thats why is was like "whhaaat?"

Haha, I see. December 31st deadlines are just evil anyway.
You: "Whew. Thank god nothing went wrong. My internet didn't crash and the common app headquarters didn't explode. YES. Jan 01 all done. Yessir."
Common App:"Not so fast!"
You:"Huh? What?"
Common App: "Got you! The deadline was DECEMBER 31ST, FOOL! MUAHAHAH"
You: "NOOOOOO! NOO!"
Common App: "LOOKS LIKE ITS COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR YOU! BETTER YET< YOURE HEADED STRAIGHT TO COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL!"
You: "ANYTHING BUT THAT"
you crumble into the fetal position as the admissions staff members encircle you laughing and growing taller and taller as their laughs grow deeper and more maniacal<--Little Mermaid Ursula style (you know what scene I'm talkin bout)

And that is EXACTLY how these things happen to good kids. Its a shame really.

Okay I sincerly apologize for that extended retardedness, I just finished an essay and I need to take a break as if that wasn't obvious...

Does anybody think I should email Bowdoin and tell them not to consider my scores? I really do like Bowdoin and I just want that acceptance letter.
