Time Issues on the ACT?

Hey CC,

I'm a rising senior and I've recently started to prep for the september ACT and it's going to be my first (and most likely last) one. In my practices, I've been scoring 33-36 on english and reading with no major problems. Math hasn't been a strong point but I'm not lacking too much in time However, science is a different story. Science has been especially difficult and I barely make it to the last section before time runs out on me.

Long story short really, does anyone have any tips on improving speed in ACT science?

Science is just Reading Comprehension/the English section.

break a test up in 8-10 minutes sections-increments and work against a timer.

I really had a problem with the timing of the science section also. I increased my science score from a 24 to a 32 by watching a set of YouTube videos-just search YouTube for ACT science help. These videos are given by a guy called SuperMagnetMan (I am not joking)- his videos are all about getting the timing down. They really worked for me- my composite score went from a 32 to 34 by fixing the science timing issue.
