I'm a freshman at UW right now. I had a thought today, and I was wondering what people thinl. Next quarter there are two sections of Chem 152, one at 9:30 and one at 3:30. I was wonder if the later class will be easier in terms of the curve. My reasoning was that the super motivated kids will take the earlier class, while the people who want to sleep in and be lazy will take the later class. Couldn't this mean that it might be easier to get a higher grade in the later section?

I believe that you are over analyzing the situation, coug45. If you’re worried about getting a GREAT grade I wouldn’t take chem 152 at all, if you want a decent grade work your A$$ off and you’ll be fine, just like every other class

And as a fellow Husky freshmen, I am now beginning to question your true faith to your school, with a name like “Coug45”… c’mon!!

First off, if you’re in chem 152, you have to be pretty motivated.

Also, a lot of people get stuck in the 3:30 section due to their registration time, most people I know wanted the 9:30 one, but it filled up fast.
