Time to get a prayer chain going

<p>Students who applied RD should start hearing in 5-6 weeks. Is there anyone close (geographically) to Notre Dame who can do a weekly prayer at the Grotto for those on this list? Or if anyone plans to visit and would be willing to stop and say a prayer for us while you are there? (Sorry if this has already been done!)</p>

<p>lol, I am here, sorry guys! I just got back to this board after a long break due to incessant schoolwork and psychology graduate school interviews. However, I am pleased to say that I got into my PhD program of course so I will be here more often...hopefully. </p>

<p>Would you mind at some point over the next week or so (if you have a chance), to bring our list of hopefuls and say a prayer at the grotto? Some of us will definitely need divine intervention to get in. And I am sure they will be making the final decisions fairly soon. It would be MUCH appreciated!</p>

<p>I'm praying for you all and thinking of you. When, exactly, do they start mailing out responses? Is it an all-at-one-time thing like EA is, where everything gets sent out of the office one day, and you have to wait for the US Postal Service to find out the rest?</p>

<p>Also, I know the number of EA applicants was disproportionately high. Has anyone heard about the number of RD applicants? The university, from what I understand, was uncertain how to assess the spike in EA applicants--whether that was an indication that more students decided to go EA than RD, or an indicator of a proportional increase in RD apps as well...</p>

<p>KR123--you are always on top of these questions... Any idea?</p>

<p>DD I am checking with my sources re the numbers. I believe if you look at last years threads the notification stress and timing is much the same as EA</p>
