<p>I’m just gonna join in here.
I’m a sophomore (2014) living in Massachusetts. Physically, I’m 5’4’’, pretty average for a fifteen year old girl. I’m Chinese-American. My favorite subjects in school are biology and geometry. I don’t like US History. My best subject is chemistry this year. My dream is to become a pediatrician, although that might change later on.
I play the piano and the violin and I’m in my school’s day and night orchestra. I’ve played the piano for over 7 years and the violin for 4. Music is my passion. It’s the only thing I can use to escape from whatever is going on in my life. I love Chopin’s nocturnes and Debussy’s preludes. I dislike the music of Bach that I’ve heard, but if someone shows me a piece by him that I like, I will revoke that statement.
I joined the swim team at the beginning of this year, but I probably won’t join again because practices are in the morning at 5am and next year I’ll need my sleep as a stressed out junior. I’m on the math team and I’m treasurer of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. I volunteer at a local hospital for two hours a week.
I love reading, but I haven’t read a book for pleasure since I started high school, unless re-reading books counts. I love the Hunger Games series, Harry Potter (I will love you if you love this series), books by John Green, and a multitude of others.
People tell me I’m nice, and in most circumstances, too nice and sensitive. So obviously I get teased and picked on a lot, but it’s no biggie. I’m also the person everyone goes to when crap happens to them and they need someone to vent their feelings to. </p>

<p>Hi! I’m 17, a junior from Michigan. I’m a girl haha. Journalism is my passion. I’m editor in chief of my schools paper and hopefully spending 5 weeks this summer at Northwestern at a journalism intensive.</p>
<p>I love to read-- Harry Potter is my absolute favorite. I read the first book when I was six. I’m also a huge John Green fan and cried for two hours after I finished his book The Fault in Our Stars. I love to travel and I’ve been all over the US as well as Europe. My favorite place in the world is New York City and I’m hoping to go to school and then live there one day. My dream is to work for the New York Times, which I read every day. I also am quite addicted to my tumblr. </p>
<p>Since we’re on a college forum website I might as well mention that my dream school is Barnard College but I also love UMich, Northwestern, NYU, and Fordham.</p>
