Nothing more than double standards.

Hyperbolic Hypocrisy
PETA Senior Vice President MaryBeth Sweetland on her use of insulin, which was tested on animals:

"I'm an insulin-dependent diabetic. Twice a day I take synthetically manufactured insulin that still contains some animal products -- and I have no qualms about it ... I'm not going to take the chance of killing myself by not taking insulin. I don't see myself as a hypocrite. I need my life to fight for the rights of animals."

I also find it funny that I see so many leather shoes at animal rights convention videos.

^ I am a vegetarian and very animal rights driven [including starting an animal rights club at my school]. I HATE PETA with a fiery passion. I happen to have two pit bulls and the founder of PETA said "Anybody who cares about animals will not be affected by a ban on pit bulls."

Sorry... not the right forum but you brought it up lol.

Aren't there hypotheses that there are particles that can go over the speed of light, but not under it?

Completely useless particles. How do they stop?

animal rights driven...so you're part of the problem then. Your kind is the reason that 50% of all ISEF projects have to be run through 378057987 different committees on animal safety before they can be approved for judging.

Actually, there are particles that theoretically exist that can go faster than the speed of light. The only catch is, they can't go slower. Tachyon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sorry I don't think that helpless animals should be abused for our entertainment / to better ourselves. What makes us higher than them? Nothing.

^ Our intelligence makes us higher than them.

^ Who defines intelligence?

Wait, stone_cutter, what? Why are you differentiating between 'humankind' and 'animals'? Aren't we all animals?

I'll use a better word: homosapiens

^ Exactly, Poseur.
This isn't the right thread for this though.

Poseur: depends on how you define animals

New thread tiem.
