Timing in SAT

Hi,
How much time in general do you allot yourselves for each question?
For the 24Q Critical Reading Qs?
For the 35Q Writing Qs?
For the 14Q Writing Qs?
For the math Qs - on general?

Thanks

btw, does anyone find the tables in the testing centers pretty small? I did my only REAL SAT test in hk, so I don't know what the testing conditions etc are like in US. They should be similar right?

Well, the college I took it at I’ve been familiar with for several years. The desks were adequate. As for timing, I just stay within the time limits. No real point of sitting there doing nothing if you’re not going to be checking your answers. I think it’s a good idea to work efficiently over working fast.

Haha okay thanks.
But I mean, for example, in the math section I usually allot myself 1 min per question so if I’m in Q10 and my timer says 11min I know I need to speed up.

I’m not sure how should pace myself in the CR and writing section.
Any ideas??

Well for the critical reading i would say a little less than a minute per question because you have to take into account reading the passages.
