Daughter is applying to three schools with rolling admissions and two with EA in October. She is toying with the idea of retaking the SAT in October (you may recall the "SAT Debacle" thread this spring), but won't have scores until early November and then send them on to the schools after. So her question is this: should she send the applications in early (she has then done already) using her ACT scores or should she wait until the SAT scores come in? The problem is that her ACT scores are fine for all of her colleges, but the math component is too low for scholarship consideration at her top school (although the English is waaaaaay above that level) and we simply can't afford it without help. She doesn't want to wait, but we aren't sure if she can spring SAT scores on a school after she's filled out applications checking off the ACT box.
Anyone?

I would simply have her call the Admission Offices about this. They are the only people who can give you reliable information. And it is absolutely possible that the individual colleges will have different policies for your daughter's situation.

I didn't think you could do that. Thank you!
