What's a good way to evenly space out all these tests? Here's what I plan to do:

Take the SAT March 12th
Take the AP Exams AND SAT IIs in May
Retake the SAT in June

The only thing I'm concerned about is taking the AP Exams and the SAT IIs in May. Apparently (according to a friend) studying for the AP Exams should leave you well-prepared for whatever is thrown at you on the subject tests. How accurate is this, and if it isn't very, would it just be better to take the SAT IIs in June as well?

I've been wondering about this as well. Right now I think I am going to follow Odan's plan

March- Sat I
May- AP's
June -Sat II's

At first I was thinking about retaking the SAT's in June, but in all honesty I don't see when I will really have a chance to restudy for the SAT's this spring, plus for us finals are in June for my non AP classes (we have projects and/or big papers for finals in AP Classes) and I want to do well on those as well so I figure I should concentrate on those during the end of May.

If you're prepared for the AP, you should definitely be ready for the SAT IIs. The way SAT IIs ask questions is a bit different from the way the APs ask questions, but the materials is actually tougher on the APs. So you should definitely take the SAT IIs in May if you're already taking the AP. That also frees up June for the SAT I or other SAT IIs.

Just be sure to take a practice SAT II while you're studying for the AP. There's only one official SAT II released for each subject test, so be sure to get ahold of that.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I will probably take my SAT IIs in May along with my AP Exams (blegh).

But now I have a question about the SAT... I doubt I will be able to study that much more for it between now and June, so would it be a good idea to just take it in October? It will give me the whole summer, but will it have any affect on my applying to college?
