<p>when it says that the deadline is 1/1/07 or submitted by 1/1/07 does that mean i can submitted up untill the last minute before it turns 1/2/07?</p>

<p>I can't believe that people literally wait until the last minute to submit applications.</p>
<p>On the common app it says, "All application deadlines are as of 11:59pm on the stated deadline day"</p>
<p>I am assuming therefore it is fine if you submit anytime before Jan 1st 23.59</p>
<p>Also, remember the Common App site uses Eastern time when dating things.</p>
<p>You can submit up until 11:59 Eastern time on January 1.</p>
<p>HOWEVER, don't wait until the last second (or even the last hours). What if there is a computer glitch, power outage, you notice a mistake you need to correct first, your dog needs to be rushed to the vet, etc.? Get it done early, today if you can. You'll be so relieved when you are finished!</p>
<p>Yup, end of the day January 1. HOWEVER, remember that is EVERYONE's deadline..so the server is going to be absolutely packed! I would not wait until the last minute. That's stupid.</p>
