<p>I got that email too; it says I qualify for $500,000. I've gotten a few emails from them. But, it is a scam.</p>
<p>hehe, I haven't gotten that, but I have gotten the Nigerian one. It was something like a warlord left a lot of money somewhere and someone needs my bank account info to help them transfer money, and then I get 2 million or something. I never get this stuff with Gmail or Yahoo!</p>
<p>Lots of spam comes through the UCD server. If you use the tools section on the web, you can effect a pretty efficient screening of emails. Modzilla Thunderbird also is a nice email program that has an pretty decent spam filter.</p>
