Tips for a junior

Hi all! I’m currently a junior and I’m really questioning if I’ll get into the colleges I want. The past 3 years of high school I’ve been like a parent to my 3 year old brother. I watch him almost 24/7 because of how much my parents work. Therefore, I haven’t had time to do various volunteering, internships, shadowing, studying for the SAT, etc. I got my PSAT scores back and received a 1290 which is nowhere near where I wanted to be. I get good grades and take almost all ap’s along with some classes at my community college, but I know that that’s not enough. I’m planning on applying though questbridge next year but I genuinely don’t think my stats are good enough. I’ve been looking into some summer programs that I want to apply to but I don’t think that I’m a strong enough candidate and I don’t know if I’d have the time for it. Does anyone have any tips on what I could do? Maybe some programs, volunteering, internships, etc that aren’t too time consuming? (Also, I genuinely want to do something I love and not just waste my time on stuff to ”boost my application”. I’m looking to do something science related)
Thank you for all your help! Haha I’m just so worried and stressed out for next year.
