I took the ACT with writing this past June for the first time and received a 23 on the writing portion. I received a 35s on both the English and the Reading sections and I would definitely consider English/writing to be my strongest areas, so I was definitely disappointed to get that score on the writing test, especially because I felt great after taking it! I feel like my raw skills are pretty good, but I know that a lot of what really matters on tests like these is doing what the graders want and make sure you are structuring/answering everything correctly. Could anyone share with me their tips or their approach to the ACT writing test or send me any links for good explanations or walk-throughs?
