tips for Chem SAT?

does anyone have any general tips for doing well on the Chem SAT? Such as strategies, stuff to memorize, the best books?

Hey! I was in your shoes a few months ago.

My tips:

1) Get the PR and Barrons SAT Chem Review Books. Work through the Princeton one but supplement with Barrons if you do not understand something. Keep in mind that the Barrons book DOES have some typos. If you can’t afford them, borrow from the library- Latest edition doesn’t matter.
2) Memorize the Solubility rules and Colors. This is crucial!
3) Take Sparknotes online tests: I took one the night before and some of the questions on the Sparknotes tests were super familiar to those on the real thing.
4) Make flashcards for ALL of the questions you get wrong- and keep reviewing them. This’ll help immensely on test day.
5) Get together with some friends and quiz each other. It is really nice and helpful.

Those are my top 5 tips for success on the test. Good Luck!

Take practice test and time yourself! My biggest issue was time.
