<p>question: idioms on the SAT really make me mad.. what is the correct way to say the following statement? - blah blah blah are advocates FOR blah blah blah -- or -- blah blah blah are advocates OF blah blah blah</p>
<p>the test had FOR, but i wasn't sure if the answer could have been the one with OF, so i picked that one as the wrong answer instead of (e) no error (because for some reason i thought it was advocates OF and not advocates FOR, but i've heard people say it both ways)</p>
