Tips for SAT plzz help me

Sorry Im not as smart as some of you, but i can't seem to finish the CR section on the SAT test. Please give me some tip for test taking strategies like how to transfer question answers, after each ques or after each group or someting like that.
Please give me any tips or tricks to improve my scores. I really need to do well on this test. I have prepared for a month now but i still cant finish each CR section. Please help mee

What materials are you using? What strategies have you already tried?

read the CR passage FIRST completely and thoroughly, and then move onto questions. i always have ten minutes left when i started switching to this method.

Actually I use the opposite strategy- read questions (NOT answers) first, and use the passages as a reference book sort of and look for the answers in it. For the global questions, save these for last becuase by the time you finish the other questions you will have read the whole passage.

The short passages you can just read, but again I look at the quesitons (NOT answers) first.

don't_panic42 i actually use a similar strategy as yours, but i answer the questions while reading the passages.

I suggest that if you haven't been an avid reader throughout your life, (ex: reading HP 5 in 2~5 hours or something like that) don't read the passage throughly.

Instead, lightly skim through it - and reading the introduction given to you by college board is really really important. It gives you a sense of who's pov it's from. Then use don't_panic42's strategy.

Good luck. :)

in terms of transferring answers...don't fill in the answer after each individual question. I usually take it passage by passage, circling all of the answers in the test book first. that way, you usually fill in 8 or so answers at one time.

unless you've only got like 2 minutes left, then just fill in the ones you know, obviously.
