Tips for the typical 09er

Share your tips with your fellow Cardinals about packing for and living in Stanford. Parents, your advice will be incredibly helpful, too.

My tips:
1- Stick with jeans. They are uber-comfortable and don't really require ironing.
2- Buy wash and wear clothes - why rack up a bill at the dry cleaners? But do have at least one formal for the special events.
3- Don't wash your clothes one day after wearing them - if they're still clean, then wear them for another day. This applies heavily to pyjamas too.
4- Don't bring all your favourite reading materials with you - pack a book or two that you are particularly attached to. The rest you'll find in Stanford's extensive book collection in the libraries.

Will post more when I think of some.

Buy a bike fender to keep your seat from getting splashed, because yes, it does rain in California.
